Modroc Masterpieces: 3D sculptures

Fully Booked
Join our friendly, Peer Worker James for this brand-new creative course. Over three weeks we will look at creating our own 3D sculpture using wire armatures (cores), mod-roc plaster and paints. By covering our wire cores in mod-roc (the same thing they use to pot a broken bone) we can create texture and features as we build up our sculptures to their final forms. This is a messy and tactile part of the session, but extremely fun to do! Once our mod-roc hardens and dries, we will use paints and pens to decorate our pieces, making each one as interesting and unique as we are!
Whether you feel like creating something abstract, have a specific theme or item, or just fancy having a go and seeing what inspires you on the day, this course is suitable for anyone who wants to dip their toes into a creative activity with a difference. No previous experience necessary and all materials provided.
