When winter arrives, it’s time to reassess how we’re living and make small, simple changes to live in alignment with what this season calls for. Tuning into the seasons can help us to live well throughout the whole year. Blending breathing practices, gentle flowing movement, meditation and reflection we will consider how we need to take things more slowly and nourish our bodies and minds in the darker months. With the help and guidance of our Peer Worker, Laura we will discover how the practice of yoga can help calm the mind, improve sleep, increase concentration and could even relieve symptoms of Depression. It also helps to increase strength and flexibility as we physically work to keep our bodies moving.
This class provides fully accessible practices as movements can be adapted and joining from a chair is encouraged. So find a warm, cosy space and join us online for this new, calming course.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing during sessions and you will be required to complete a health questionnaire before attending.
