Freedom from Fibromyalgia
Mirfield Community Centre, Water Royd Lane, Mirfield, WF14 9SG

My health and me
If you have fibromyalgia or experience chronic pain then join us for this amazing course! Delivered by Social Worker and Transformation Coach, Keilly Parker, this 3-week course will provide an overview of fibromyalgia, what it is and how it affects people in different ways, as well as strategies for improving symptoms. We will learn about Keilly’s own journey out of fibromyalgia, as well as exploring the different areas of our lives and how we can make adjustments to reduce our symptoms and allow for a better quality of life. The course will cover nutrition, sleep, pain management, relationships, employment and finance, mental health, mindset and values. This is an interactive course where you can share your experiences if you wish to do so. We will also provide some resources, signposting to further support, and guidance towards building a support network for your recovery journey. You are not alone and there is hope for recovery!
Please feel free to bring anything that would make you more comfortable such as cushions, layers of clothing, a bottle of water and an open mind! Sessions will be available online for those who are unable to attend in person.
Please note this course is intended to be educational, and while it will be delivered in a supportive environment, therapy is not offered in this setting; learners will be signposted towards places where further support and help are available.
