Group Mosaics: Creative Collaboration

Mirfield Community Centre, Water Royd Lane, Mirfield, WF14 9SG

Life skills and interests

Fully Booked

Brand-new for 2025!  Due to the high demand for our Mosaic courses, we are offering you something with a difference!

On this group mosaics course, we will work as a team to work on a large backing board and create a mosaic which can be proudly displayed at Mirfield Community Centre.  With the guidance and support of our friendly facilitators, James & Tony, we will learn how to cut, fix, and grout the tiles – plus how to use colours to our advantage, so that our piece of collaborative art draws people’s eye when displayed.

We hope this course will give learners a sense that they have “put their stamp” on our new venue in Mirfield, so that it feels more like a space we belong and that we have contributed to and have a say in.  We plan to run more group mosaics courses in the future, so please don’t be disappointed if you miss out this time!

This course is ideal for learners who have previously attended a Recovery College Mosaics course and want to further develop their skills and experience.
