Wellbeing tools

Fully Booked

Join us for this popular six-week course, where together we will explore the various tools and techniques of Yoga including breathing practices, gentle flowing movement, meditation and relaxation.  It will provide the opportunity to focus on the now, allowing you to let your thoughts just be, leaving you feeling calm, relaxed and ready to walk back into the outside world.

Delivered by the lovely Laura at Umbrella Yoga, this course is suitable for complete beginners or those with previous experience and incorporates accessible practices; movements can be adapted and learners are able to participate from a chair if needed.

Research has shown that Yoga can help calm the mind, improve sleep, increase concentration and relieve symptoms of Depression.  Physically, it helps to keep the body moving which increases strength and flexibility, so why not give it a go?

Yoga mats will be provided and please wear loose comfortable clothing for these sessions.  Please note that for your own wellbeing, a health questionnaire will need to be completed prior to undertaking this course.

Please note: that due to funding, priority will be given to learners living in Kirklees.
