Join us for this brand new introductory workshop delivered in partnership with West Yorkshire Archive Service.  You will discover exactly what archives are and how you can use them to unlock the doors of your own family history.  Perhaps you were descended from a knight? Or maybe your family name bears a coat of arms? Archive research can help you find out more about your heritage as well as learning about local history.  Interested?  Then book on now!

Please note, you will also have the opportunity to book on different workshops at the History Centre in Wakefield later in the year, such as: How to search your house history, Recipes across the years and the West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum
