Welcome to our weekly update!

Welcome to the weekly update with our usual course offers and community information.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Cuppa and Connect event last week at Brian Jackson House (Fresh Futures). It was a pleasure to meet you and hear your valuable feedback about the college. Your inspiring stories about how our college has positively impacted lives highlighted the importance of providing a safe space for connection and fostering hope. We also greatly appreciate your suggestions for improvement, which will help us enhance our college. Thank you for being a part of this important conversation.

Do come and see us at the family fun day at Greenhead Park, Huddersfield Friday 11th April 11am-3pm. There is lots to do and find out about ways to stay well with free activities such as yoga, samba, health checks, croquet and much more… Come and say hello to Matt and the 2 Laura’s  and Martha one of our college ambassadors on our Recovery and Wellbeing College stall!

As always, we have a variety of courses available, including new craft courses at Project Colt in Elland. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Courses coming up soon…

Paper Mosaics

Project Colt, Elland, Halifax, Bridgefield Mills, Elland Bridge, Elland, Halifax HX5 0SQ – Monday 14 April 2025 12.30pm-3.30pm  – 3 weeks

“It’s back!? One of our most popular courses at Recovery & Wellbeing College, but with a twist.

Using a variety of papers and magazine clippings, we will design and create our own paper mosaics which, unlike ceramic mosaics, will be easy to transport and frame or display. There will be more colours and textures available to choose from, and you can even bring in an old magazine of your own to cut up and add to your mosaic.

With the guidance and support of our friendly facilitator, James we will get to grips with the art of mosaics and create a beautiful piece of art to take away for us to proudly display in our homes.

Please note there will be a break of one week for the school holiday.
